5Values | About Us

About us

We power brands who support, find and showcase the people who make technology a force for good in the world

Technology can be a force for good in the world. But it’s a tool. And, like any tool, it’s down to the user to decide how to use it. In the right hands, it can feed the hungry, save lives and build a better future.

So, we find the right people. Ethical people. Honest people. Hard-working people. People who want to change things for good. People who will admit to their mistakes and are willing to learn. And we look for them in places others would overlook, because talented people can be anywhere. With the right people, we can solve society’s biggest problems, like protecting our planet. Right now, we’re searching for people who are interested in Deep Tech, IoT, Semiconductors, Automotive, and Entertainment, because we believe those technologies have the potential to make the biggest changes. As technology evolves, so will our focus.

Over the years, we’ve learnt that if your overall goal isn’t top-of-mind, it’s too easy to compromise. So, we’ve created five guiding values to make sure every decision is about finding the people – wherever they might be – who’ll make technology a force for good.

That’s why we’re called 5 Values

Our vision

To live and breathe our values, whilst becoming globally recognised and respected in the areas we operate.

Our 5Values…

1
Inclusive.
Fight your biases
2
Sustainable.
Put the planet before profit
3
Attentive.
Listen before you talk
4
Authentic.
Follow through with ideas
5
Considerate.
Put people first

The more diverse our teams, the more experiences and points of view we’ll hear. If we want to hear new ideas, we need to listen to everyone. And to do that, we need to fight against our biases.

We promise to provide Diversity and Inclusion training to all our team members every year. Without fail. Whilst partnering with organisations who enable us to learn and continue to fight our biases. We are committed to reducing the Gender gap in our company and aim to have equal representation of women in leadership roles -increasing the percentage from 25% to 50% by 2025.

If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Sure, no single person can fix the planet by themselves. But we can make sure that every decision we make takes us one step closer.

We're striving to be carbon neutral by 2025:  on this journey we aim to be paperless by June 2024 and will continue to support carbon-positive initiatives at least three times a year.
Whilst also strengthening our efforts through Ecologi.

We have two ears and one mouth. So, we should listen twice as much as we speak. When we listen, we can find out how to make people happier in their roles, discover new ideas and learn how to improve. Listening and then reflecting is the only way to grow - as people and as a business.

To be authentic, we must fulfill every commitment we've made, living our values daily alongside our people and partners. This will be shared both internally and externally. We will track it and we will stick to it.

It’s easy to say you’re going to do good things. It’s not so easy to actually do them. So we follow through. We walk the walk. And we never just pay lip service. That includes making sure we always follow these values.

Your voices matter, and we're committed to listening and improving together. We pledge to be attentive by actively seeking and valuing feedback from our people and partners. We aim to do this every day. This includes continually improvement through eNPS, NPS outlets and our team feedback channel.

People are at the heart of our business. We need to focus on their long-term health. Their life is not just a short-term goal. If someone needs a hand, we offer it. And when things go wrong, we don’t point fingers. We help the person through it.

We promise to be considerate by implementing our 100 hours scheme. Our goal is to have given back 2000 hours of our time, to community initiatives of our team’s choice, by June 2025.
